HR Strategy:

Having no previous HR support, this start-up biotech needed an action plan for bringing it’s HR function online.

A defined HR strategy is essential for any organization as it serves as a roadmap for managing and developing its workforce. An effective HR strategy aligns the organization's goals with its human capital by defining the roles, responsibilities, and competencies required to achieve them. It helps organizations recruit, develop, and retain the best talent while creating a positive and inclusive work culture that fosters employee engagement and job satisfaction. A robust HR strategy also ensures compliance with labor laws and regulations, mitigates risks related to employee turnover and productivity, and promotes innovation and growth.

NEO’s Approach:

This project began with stakeholder interviews and a risk assessment identifying immediate short-term needs and longer-term objectives.  Results were reviewed with the SLT and prioritized based on risk, criticality, and need.

Results:

Within months, the organization had an actionable, go-forward plan for building out its HR function.
